“Vitamin C rich foods”. Vitamin C improves our immune system. Every person
should consume vitamin C daily and after consulting with the doctor. There are
so many benefits of vitamin C such as:
- It lowers body blood pressure.
- It is a very strong antioxidant.
- It boosts the nervous and the immune system.
- It also increases iron absorption in the body.
- It is best for mental and physical health.
- It is also good for healthy skin and hair etc.
Vitamin c rich foods:
Broccoli: It contains
the almost double amount of vitamin C as citrus foods. It has almost 130 to 132
mg, vitamin C.
Cauliflower: It
contains almost 70 mg of vitamin C.
Red and Green peppers: It also contains
vitamin C more than citrus foods.
One cup of chopped red
pepper contains almost 188 to 189 mg and green contains almost 119 to 121 mg
vitamin C.
Brussels Sprouts: One cup of sprouts contains almost 74 to 76 mg vitamin C.
Oranges: One orange
contains almost 69 to 70 mg of vitamin C.
Tomatoes: Almost 29
percent of daily consumption of vitamin C present in one tomato.
Kiwi: It is a good
source of vitamin C, K, and E.
Spinach: Almost 200 gm
of spinach contains 57 mg of vitamin C. Green leafy vegetables are the best
source of so many vitamins and minerals.
Lemon: One piece of
lemon contains almost 29 mg of vitamin C and it is also good for our immune
system.
