If you have a focus in your life, then you can easily achieve what
you want to. So wherever there will be a focus in your life, you will
definitely see a positive change.
We always give priority to the work in life that gives us
happiness so that we can bring positive changes in life. But happiness is of
two types, one is short term and the other is long term.
Short term happiness is not real happiness, it is a neurochemical
spike in our brain that doesn’t last forever. For example like when we buy a
new phone, we will be happy for a few weeks but as time goes on, we will stop
getting happy from this phone. But long term happiness is what you get from
doing what is the goal in your life or passion of your life.
So the focus here is how you will spend your limited time and
limited energy so that you can live a happy and successful life, where you can
have both short term and long term happiness. And also be able to take some
positive changes.
If your focus is not on your goal, then there can be two reasons
one is stress and the other is a distraction. And stress is like a black hole
that swallows our vision.
And this is the reality, for example, an average person taking
lower stress can overtake an intelligent person who takes higher stress. So we
should always have a blueprint of what to do in our life so that we can spend
our limited time and limited energy on our goal. We have to learn to stand up
for a big reason in life.
We have to learn to speak “NO” in life to those
things or those people who can distract you from the goal of your life. So we
should learn to focus more on long term happiness than our short term
happiness.
