Say no to plastic

Hi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone................... I hope you all are doing well. Today's topic is “SAY NO TO PLASTIC”. We all know that these days single-use plastic is the very biggest and dangerous problem for our beautiful planet. Because it is dangerous for all humans, animals, nature, etc. Everybody should be aware of this problem. This is not only a government or environmentalist’s duty to find the alternatives of single-use plastic, but this is everyone’s duty to think about this and try to find the solutions of single-use plastic. The use of alternatives to single-use plastic is very necessary to keep our environment safe. Single-use plastic should be banned everywhere in the world. Approximately more than half of the plastic produced in the world is designed like it can be used only for once. There are so many alternatives to plastic such as paper, cardboard, etc. BUT BIO-PLASTIC IS NOT AN ECO-FRIENDLY ALTERNATIVE TO PLASTIC, because it increases greenhouse gas emissions. So alternatives should be eco-friendly, recyclable, and cheap. Almost half of the single-use plastic is being used in packaging only. Fishing gear is also one of the largest reasons for ocean plastic pollution.

IMPACTS:

Almost every time everybody throws plastic on the road and through rain and other sources, it goes into the rivers, oceans and this is very dangerous for aquatic animals. If it properly cleaned from the roads then it can be recycled. Plastic is also very dangerous for humans because it leads to many diseases such as kidney and liver problems; it also affects the nervous and respiratory system, etc. Some times in very backward areas solid waste or plastic is also used for cooking or heating and this is very dangerous for the environment and human health.

                                                                                  

SOLUTIONS:

Ground-level awareness of plastic pollution is very necessary. The design and composition of plastic should be simple so that the recycling of plastic will be easier. We can use natural, biodegradable carry bags instead of plastic such as paper bags, clothes bags, etc. Paddy stubble and leaves can also be used in the place of plastic. It is beneficial for our environment as well as the economy. Because plastic utensils are produced by a few companies only but this type of utensils can be produced by a common person. So it can increase employment also. Glass and aluminium are also good alternatives to plastic.
